Happy Black History Month 2024!!!

2/1/2024 - On behalf of Black History Month: I thank Ruby Bridges for her bravery and her obedience and cooperation with her mom as she became the first black child to integrate an all-white elementary school. She represented us well. You go little Ruby!!! So now, MY little black girl has many more education options and opportunities than there were before. Growing up, I never went to the same school more than 2 years row. (military) I always hated being the new girl! But my daughter has been brave going to a new school recently. She's been resistant and crying, but brave and resilient. I SO proud of her!!!
